Our Story

After being an employed Mortgage Adviser for a
high street building society for 15 years, I knew that
I wanted to build my own specialist service. I also
knew I didn’t want to charge my clients fees for
arranging their mortgage.

If you’re looking for a mortgage, you want to be
provided with the best deals from the wider market,
rather than the limited offering of one lender.

So, from small acorns a large oak tree has grown.

Since 2012 when I set up the company, I am proud to have built a
team of amazing advisors who work to our strict ethos of putting
our clients at the forefront of everything we do.

And the proof, as they say, is always in the pudding. Virtually all our
business comes from word of mouth. Our clients recommend us to
their family and friends and many of our clients come to us for new
mortgages if they are moving home, their fixed mortgage is coming
to an end, they want to release some capital from their property, or
they are buying a ‘buy to let’ property.

How we work

Step 1

Before your house search begins

Contact us before you start looking at properties. We will confirm how much you can borrow and how much your monthly payments would be.

We provide you with a Mortgage in Principle which allows you to confidently make an offer on your dream home and be in the best position to have it accepted.

Please Note: Should you have any missed payments or been in debt in the past, lenders may ask us to send them a copy of your credit file. If this is necessary, you can obtain this by clicking here who provide a 30-day free trial and then charge £14.99 per month thereafter. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.

Step 2

The property search

Actively go out and look for your dream property. When you find it, make an offer and negotiate with the vendor (owner of the property) or estate agent until you reach an agreed purchase price.

Once your offer is accepted, we will proceed with your mortgage application to the best lender, for their best deal, and instruct your property survey.

Step 3

Solicitors in the mix

You will need to instruct a conveyancing solicitor, or we can do this on your behalf if you don’t know who to choose. They will liaise with you on matters linked to the property which are not to do with the mortgage. Sit back and let us do the rest.

We liaise with the mortgage lender on your behalf and provide them with all the necessary information and documentation they need to get your application through the underwriting and surveying process. Once your mortgage offer is finalised, your solicitors can move ahead to exchange and complete the sale.
